Hey Libby, My name is Karen, You don't know me, but I'm an old friend of your dad's from college. I just heard about how strong and brave you have been over the past year or so. I have a 14 year old daughter that can't even get her blood taken without freaking out.
I was also diagnosed with cancer around the same time as you and can understand some of what you have been going thru and I know it's not easy, but I see from your website that you have many people that love and care about you. So stay strong and don't let all of this get you down.
I'm sending warm wishes and prayers from sunny Florida!

| hey Libby!! I haven't wrote on this in a lil while lol but..I am so glad...and so proud of YOU! I kno I never knew u that well or anything but I just remember the day I came home and my mom & sis told me the news when you first got sick......& I remember the "updates" Fallon would bring us.....then when I saw you at CHOP'S Christmas Party & saw how beautiful AND healthy u looked.... & now you pretty much made it!!! :) You are blessed girl, 100% blessed. You -and Fallon- are both heroes in my eyes; you both have miracle stories. Do NOT let the world miss hearing yours one day....how you kicked cancer rite in the freakin butt. Fallon supported u 100% then & still now. now that there's a new girl at CWL w/cancer, i know that u will be a light to her life as well becuz of ur experience & the positive attitude u maintained thru it all. I was so glad when Falz told me you are much better now. I wish U THE BEST of luck in school & in everything else this ..... fo' the rest of ya life :] <3 |
